About the Role
We are looking for a Business Planner specialized in Direct-to-Consumer (DTC) to support the financial performance of our Retail and E-commerce channels. Reporting to the Business Planning Manager, you will play a key role in sales forecasting, inventory management, and budget tracking. This position requires a strong analytical mindset and the ability to work cross-functionally with merchandising, finance, and supply chain teams to optimize business performance.
Key Responsibilities
- Analyze and monitor DTC sales performance (Retail & E-commerce) on a weekly, monthly, and yearly basis.
- Develop seasonal sales forecasts, ensuring alignment with demand planning and stock availability.
- Manage the Open-To-Buy (OTB) process, optimizing inventory investments for profitability.
- Track and update business dashboards, providing financial insights to support decision-making.
- Optimize stock allocation and replenishment strategies, identifying risks related to inventory levels.
- Work closely with merchandising and digital teams to refine pricing, promotions, and markdown strategies.
- Ensure data accuracy for financial planning, sales projections, and inventory reporting.
- Conduct ad hoc analysis to support strategic business decisions.
Profile & Skills
- Minimum 3+ years experience in DTC business planning, financial analysis, or demand planning (fashion/luxury preferred).
- Strong analytical mindset with experience in E-commerce & Retail sales data analysis.
- Proficiency in Excel & business intelligence tools (ERP, Looker, Tableau, or similar is a plus).
- Knowledge of OTB, sell-through, inventory management, and retail KPIs.
- Experience working with merchandising, finance, and supply chain teams in an omnichannel environment.
- Fluent in English & French.
- Highly organized, detail-oriented, and proactive, with strong problem-solving skills.
